heat exchanger and evaporator

Have you wondered how machines in factories are able to remain cool after working all day? When working, the machines can get very hot and one of the reasons how they manage to keep cool is due to heat exchangers. This enables them to perform an invaluable function in regulating temperatures by transferring heat from hot liquids into cold ones. That is, when hot liquid passes into the heat exchanger it will cool down and cold liquid heats up. Heat exchangers are a must because Machines have to work well and they cannot get too hot.

So, let us find out how heat exchangers work! Parts inside of a heat exchanger consist largely of tiny pipes that liquid runs / flows through. There are straight pipes and there are twisted and coiled like a spring. As the hot liquid is passed through a set of pipes, it warms up the metal walls in which these contaminated waters are kept. The heat of the hot liquid is then transferred to cold pipe walls with flowing standard industrial fluid. The hot liquid loses its heat and the cold one gets warmer, but they never blend. This other operation maintains the machine at the right temperature for usage and prevents overheating.

Understanding Heat Exchanger Technology and Its Applications

Heat exchangers are used in a variety of settings such as factories where cars come off the line or breweries that make beer. In power plants they are also very important as cooling elements of other machine needed to keep them from becoming too hot and finally stop working. Heat exchangers play a role in air conditioning systems within buildings, which work to cool the warm air and heat up cold one that pass through our homes and offices.

EvaporatorAn evaporator is another important machine used in many industries. Evaporators are directly used in the food and beverage industry. They help in the removal of additional liquid from consumables and beverages. When we extract juice from fruit, there is a lot of water remaining in the fruit for example. Evaporators will then have the excess water removed by heating and resulting in stronger juice that is thicker. Otherwise it would take a huge basket of fresh fruit to get just one small bottle thick and flavorful juice.
